Phoenix (1st Newtown) Venture Scout Unit

Venture Scouts is the senior section of Scouting in the United Kingdom. Members are aged 15-20, male and female, and determine their own programme of activities.

The Phoenix Venture Scout Unit based in Newtown is an active group. Members participate in a wide range of activities ranging from ten-pin bowling to gorge walking, quiz evenings to white water canoeing.

The Unit has weekly meetings, usually in Newtown Scout Hall on Tuesdays, together with many weekend activities.
